Hi there! I’m Angie Whitten, owner of Harmony Photography, where I make the people, places, and things I photograph look their best. I love what I do for so many reasons. The trust and relationships I form with the people who come to me for their photos means so much to me.
I love working with my clients to make them not only look their best, but also feel strong, beautiful, and confident. There are many ways to do this in the types of photography I do best.
I specialize in...
High School Seniors
I take pride in the level of trust and rapport clients develop with me during the pre-session meetings and the sessions themselves. When you hire a photographer, you’re trusting them to capture the memories of your life’s most precious, intimate, and exciting moments. I’m going to go above and beyond to establish a relationship that is more than just point and shoot. I want to get to know you, how you feel, and what you want from your session.
As a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, I know the entire photography process. Not only does this knowledge allow me to take the best quality photos, but I’ve also learned the best ways to tell a story, get unique shots, and help you perform your best in front of the camera. Being a member of the Pierce County Professional Photographers Association and Professional Photographers of America, I’m surrounded by other talented photographers. We love to share knowledge, tips and tricks with each other. Through these, I’m continually learning ways to get my clients the best portraits and pictures possible.
My studio is in Gig Harbor Washington, near the beautiful Mt. Rainier. I’ve lived in Western Washington my whole life and love the scenery here! Washington is such a beautiful state with mountains, rivers, rural, urban and ocean views. It’s a wonderful place to live and take in the scenery - and for taking pictures, it’s a dream place for me.
I recently married the love of my life, Jeff. In my free time, I enjoy singing, cooking, and watching the Seahawks! (Go Hawks!) I’ve also become quite the hockey fan, and love watching Jeff when he plays.
Now you've had a chance to get to know me, and I hope I get the opportunity to do the same. So let’s get together over coffee and learn more about each other. I’d love to know how I can help capture the big moments in your life, and the little, precious ones in between. Starbucks is on me ☺
